The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing finance and accounting teams, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, the VP of Finance will manage asset/liability strategies, liquidity, investments, and risk policies, drive month-end close, board reporting, and support annual audits and tax filings. The role also involves conducting financial and KPI analysis to identify trends and optimize performance. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership within a financial institution. Expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial systems is essential, as are strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
