Vice President of Finance About the Company Emerging consumer brand Industry Consumer Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead its finance and accounting function and serve as a strategic partner to the executive team. This pivotal role is focused on building strong financial infrastructure, improving visibility into margins and inventory, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for all core finance and accounting operations, including accurate and timely financial closes and reporting, cash management, internal controls, and audit readiness. They will also drive finance systems strategy, process improvement, and be instrumental in shaping how financial information is used across the organization. Candidates for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a background in CPG, manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce environments, with senior-level experience in accounting, controllership, or finance leadership roles within product-based businesses. Essential skills include a strong understanding of ERP workflows, inventory management, costing, and financial controls, as well as advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. The role requires the ability to build structure and process in high-growth, entrepreneurial settings and to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. A hands-on, systems-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement is also essential. Bonus qualifications include experience in PE- or VC-backed, high-growth companies, direct involvement in ERP implementations, and exposure to modern finance technologies.
