Vice President of Finance About the Company Highly regarded multi-site healthcare system Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to oversee the financial operations of a hospital community within its regional network. The successful candidate will be the senior finance leader for the community, providing strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders. Key responsibilities include leading the finance function, which encompasses accounting, payroll, budgeting, decision support, financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. The role also involves serving as a strategic financial advisor, leading annual operating and capital planning processes, and driving operational performance through financial insights. Candidates for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA, MBA, or Master’s in a related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior financial leadership within a hospital or large healthcare organization is required, with a proven track record in financial strategy, budgeting, and operational performance improvement. Experience in revenue cycle improvement is also preferred. The ideal candidate will possess executive-level healthcare finance leadership skills, a strong operational finance background, and the ability to partner strategically with clinical and operational teams. Proficiency in presenting complex financial insights, as well as knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, payer contracting, and regulatory compliance, is essential.
