Vice President of Human Resources About the Company Respected manufacturing organization Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to serve as a strategic leader, aligning people strategies with business objectives and playing a pivotal role in the development of a scalable HR infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving talent initiatives, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring that HR practices are in line with the company's operational and financial performance. This role demands a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, particularly in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and workforce development. The VP of HR will also be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, fostering a positive workplace culture, and managing complex employee relations with professionalism. Candidates for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is required. Experience in operationally intensive environments, such as manufacturing or distribution, and a proven track record in building and scaling HR functions are essential. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and execute effectively. Proficiency in HR metrics, data analysis, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and employment law are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, and demonstrate key competencies in emotional intelligence, relationship building, and the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
