The VPIT will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of information systems and technology resources. This role demands a strategic leader who can align the technology vision with the institution's mission and goals, oversee robust cybersecurity measures, and lead IT projects to enhance efficiency and meet the diverse needs of the university community. Candidates for the VPIT position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a proven track record in IT leadership, particularly within higher education or a similar environment. Essential qualifications include technical expertise in information systems, cybersecurity, and instructional technology, as well as experience in strategic planning, project and personnel management, and budgeting.
