Job Description
Position Overview The Vice President of Internal Audit is responsible for the company's overall internal audit function, risk management, and the development of its internal control framework. This role conducts independent audits and risk assessments across financial, operational, compliance, and business processes to ensure that corporate operations remain lawful and compliant, risks are effectively managed, and governance standards are continuously enhanced. This position serves as a pivotal senior executive role within the realms of enterprise risk management and corporate governance, charged with providing the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, and senior management with independent, objective audit analyses and recommendations for improvement. II. Core Responsibilities Internal Audit System Development Establish and refine the company's internal audit policies, procedures, and management framework. Formulate annual audit plans and risk-oriented audit strategies. Drive the digitalization and intelligent transformation of audit functions. Financial and Operational Audits Organize and execute financial audits, operational audits, and special audit projects. Review financial data, cost structures, and operational processes. Evaluate business operational efficiency and the effectiveness of internal controls. Risk Management and Internal Controls Establish mechanisms for risk identification, assessment, and early warning. Monitor key business processes and the implementation of risk control measures. Drive the continuous optimization of internal controls and the implementation of corrective actions. Compliance and Regulatory Support Ensure that company operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements. Monitor the implementation of anti-fraud, anti-corruption, and business ethics policies. Support external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance assessments. Data Analytics and Audit Digitalization Leverage data analytics technologies to enhance audit efficiency and risk identification capabilities. Establish mechanisms for audit data monitoring and anomaly detection. Drive the development of audit automation and data visualization systems. Audit Reporting and Executive Decision Support Report audit findings to the CEO, CFO, and Audit Committee. Provide recommendations regarding risk assessment, process optimization, and corporate governance improvements. Support major business decisions and special investigative projects. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Remediation Promotion Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, and Business teams. Track the progress and effectiveness of corrective actions addressing audit findings. Promote a culture of risk management and compliance awareness throughout the organization. Team Building and Talent Development Manage the internal audit, risk control, and compliance teams. Establish performance management and talent development systems. Enhance the team's professional capabilities and the overall quality of audit work. III. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher (in Finance, Auditing, Accounting, or a related field). Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred. Over 20 years of experience in internal auditing, risk control, or financial management. Over 15 years of experience in team management. Professional Competencies Profound expertise in internal audit, internal control, and risk management frameworks. Familiarity with financial, operational, and compliance audit processes. Proven capabilities in data analytics and risk assessment. Familiarity with audit and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP, Power BI).
