The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cost optimization, supplier innovation, and supply chain efficiency, while also supporting new product development and long-term business growth. This role involves leading and executing global sourcing strategies, overseeing supplier management across key regions, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. The VP of Procurement will also be tasked with leading cross-functional initiatives, managing international teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function. Candidates for the VP of Procurement position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in procurement or supply chain leadership, with a proven track record in global sourcing and cost reduction, is required. The role demands strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in ERP systems and procurement analytics tools. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global supply chain operations, sourcing strategies, and best practices, and be adept at leading and developing high-performing teams. Certifications in supply chain or procurement are a plus, and the candidate should demonstrate key competencies such as a strategic mindset, executive presence, and the ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
