Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations About the Company Fast-growing eCommerce software firm Industry Computer Software Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Supply Chain and Operations to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to fulfillment, with a focus on developing and executing long-term operational strategies that align with the company's growth and efficiency goals. This role requires a leader who can establish and optimize operational systems and processes to support the company's rapid expansion, as well as manage core inventory performance metrics and lead warehouse and logistics operations. Key responsibilities for the VP of Supply Chain and Operations include owning the supply chain strategy, leading inventory and fulfillment optimization, overseeing warehouse and logistics leadership, and driving procurement and vendor strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain, procurement, and operations, with at least 10 years' of progressive leadership experience. They should be adept at building and scaling operational teams, possess strong executive communication skills, and be capable of managing relationships with various stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Experience in high-volume fulfillment ecosystems, particularly with Amazon FBA, is strongly valued.
