Vice President, People and Talent About the Company Fast-growing healthcare organization Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of People and Talent to take on a strategic, hands-on leadership role in scaling the HR function within a high-growth, private equity-backed organization. The successful candidate will be a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, driving value creation through people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and operational excellence. This critical position requires a leader with a proven track record in aligning talent strategy with aggressive growth objectives, operational rigor, and investor expectations. Responsibilities include developing and executing a people strategy that supports scaling, operational efficiency, and long-term enterprise value, as well as building and optimizing HR infrastructure, processes, and systems. The role also involves implementing performance management frameworks, designing compensation structures, and leading talent acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in private equity-backed, high-growth, or transformation environments. Key strengths for this role include being a strategic and commercially minded leader with strong execution capability, comfortable in fast-paced, performance-driven environments, and possessing the ability to build structure and drive results amid ambiguity and change. A deep expertise across HR disciplines, strong knowledge of California employment law, and experience in supporting M&A, integration, or organizational transformation are highly valued.
