Vice President of Product (VP of Product) – Job DescriptionPosition Title Vice President of Product (VP of Product) Location New York, NY (Remote) Reports To CEO / COO / Founder Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Product to lead our product organization and drive product innovation, growth, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep market insight, and a proven track record of building successful products and high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the company’s overall product strategy and long-term product roadmap. Lead the product management team and foster a strong product-driven culture. Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to drive innovation. Oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept and planning to launch and continuous optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations teams. Establish scalable product management processes, frameworks, and best practices. Use data, analytics, and customer feedback to improve product performance and user experience. Drive business growth through product innovation, monetization strategies, and customer engagement. Prioritize product initiatives based on company goals, market demand, and ROI. Mentor and develop product leaders and team members to support organizational growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience building and scaling successful products from concept to market. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen. Deep understanding of product development methodologies, agile practices, and user-centered design. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset. Experience in SaaS, AI, fintech, e-commerce, or technology industries is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong English communication and presentation skills preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading global or international product teams. Proven success in driving product-led growth. Startup or high-growth company experience. Familiarity with AI-powered products or digital transformation initiatives.
