The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining regulatory reporting policies, including the drafting, analysis, and presentation of key rules, interpretations, and guidance. This role involves the preparation of new policies in line with upcoming regulatory changes and their implementation across the organization. The VP will also engage with regulatory bodies on technical matters, provide expertise in drafting comment letters, and represent the organization in industry forums on various regulatory reporting topics. Applicants must have 5-10 years' experience in bank regulatory reporting, advisory, or accounting policy, with a strong background in the banking industry. The role requires a candidate with strong research, analytical, and business writing skills, as well as a deep knowledge of regulatory capital requirements, including credit risk, market risk, and net capital calculation. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to be highly analytical are essential. The VP will also be involved in assessing regulatory changes, supporting training initiatives, and maintaining governance and controls over critical reporting processes.
