JOB DESCRIPTION Team Overview The Strategic Partnerships Center of Excellence (COE) drives enterprise value by building and managing relationships across Card Benefits , Ultimate Rewards , and Aggregator/Open Banking programs. Working closely with teams across Consumer & Community Banking , we maintain a centralized pipeline of partner benefits that supports both branded and co-branded credit cards. Our partnerships deliver meaningful value and experiences for customers, create incremental benefit for merchant partners, and generate scalable impact for Chase through platform-led distribution. We also advance innovation across the loyalty and open banking ecosystems and provide a cohesive partnership framework to grow and deepen relationships with large-scale commercial partners. As a Vice President, Ultimate Rewards (UR) Gift Card Partnerships, you will report to the Executive Director of Ultimate Rewards (UR) Gift Card Partnerships. You will support and help lead the relationships and commercial strategy for gift card partners across UR passion areas, in close partnership with our vendor relationship. You will help negotiate and manage commercial terms to improve UR gift card program economics and increase merchant-funded value. You will contribute to a forward-looking partnership roadmap aligned to UR strategy and customer segmentation, and drive cross-functional execution in a highly matrixed environment. Job Responsibilities Partner and vendor management: Manage day-to-day relationships with gift card partners across UR passion areas and collaborate closely with the vendor partner to ensure strong performance, alignment, and growth over time. Commercial negotiation & economics: Support negotiations and ongoing commercial management to optimize UR program economics and increase merchant-funded value, including tracking performance versus targets. Market & competitive intelligence: Conduct competitor and market gap analyses to inform partner strategy, prioritization, and portfolio decisions; synthesize findings into clear recommendations. Strategy & roadmap development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a multi-year gift card partnership roadmap aligned with UR program strategy, customer segmentation, and evolving customer needs. Cross-functional test-and-learn delivery: Partner with Ultimate Rewards Program Management, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Card GM teams to execute and measure test-and-learn initiatives that improve program performance and customer value. Customer experience optimization: Coordinate with Product and Marketing to enhance the end-to-end customer experience, including partner offers, merchandising, and customer communications; identify friction points and drive resolutions. Operational excellence: Manage partner reporting, business reviews, contractual deliverables, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality execution and risk-managed outcomes. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Partnership management: Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate internal stakeholders and align teams behind partner plans. Customer-oriented mindset: Customer-first mentality with the ability to translate portfolio strategy into clear priorities and executable plans. Strategic thinking with operational rigor: Ability to connect big-picture strategy to details such as program mechanics, partner performance, and contract obligations. Financial and contract acumen: Working knowledge of pricing and commercial levers; strong contract literacy and comfort managing economics through data-driven performance management. Critical thinker: Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative; able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, matrixed environment. Strong execution: Detail-oriented, outcomes-driven, and comfortable rolling up sleeves to drive work to completion with limited direct authority. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Industry experience: 5-7 years of experience in credit card
