The successful candidate will be responsible for the 24/7 executive oversight of the service line, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. This includes setting the tone for departmental culture, professional practice, and performance, as well as advancing operational and strategic objectives. The role is akin to that of a CEO for the service line, with a focus on performance across quality, safety, experience, workforce engagement, and financial stewardship. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, a Master’s degree in a related field, and at least 8 years of job-related experience, including a minimum of 4 years in nursing leadership at the director level or higher. The Vice President will be expected to bring deep subject matter expertise in women's and neonatal services, particularly in high-acuity maternal and neonatal care, and to lead cultural, operational, and quality transformation. Strong physician partnership, operational discipline, and a visible leadership presence are essential. The role requires an individual with executive presence, the ability to lead in high-stakes clinical environments, and a passion for health equity and serving vulnerable populations. The ideal candidate will be a skilled change leader, data-driven, quality-focused, and operationally disciplined, with a proven track record of elevating performance and culture simultaneously.
