Duties Perform professional hair styling, including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and creativity. Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions to enhance clients’ natural beauty. Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Conduct consultations to recommend suitable hair treatments, color theory-based solutions, and retail products tailored to each client’s needs. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a hygienic environment in accordance with industry regulations. Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments efficiently. Support store management through inventory management, retail upselling, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Mentor junior team members in hair techniques like straight razor shaving, hair threading, and nail care services. Promote retail products through effective upselling strategies while providing excellent customer service. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, and beauty treatments to offer innovative solutions to clients. Experience Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with a strong portfolio of hair styling work. Hands-on expertise in hair extensions application and eyelash extension techniques. Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms. Knowledge of color theory principles for customized coloring services. Experience with sanitation practices specific to beauty salons and barber shops. Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration. Ability to perform various beauty services including makeup application and nail care confidently. Previous store management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are highly valued.
