Overview We are seeking a dedicated Vinyl Operator/Attendant to join our dynamic wood mill team.In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining vinyl printing and cutting equipment.The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of screen printing processes, prepress operations, and color management techniques.This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and learn other skills regarding working with real wood.Responsibilities Machine Operation:Set up, adjust, and operate extruders, press machines, or cutting tools to produce vinyl products.Quality Control:Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications, identifying defects such as poor thickness or surface flaws.Production Monitoring:Keep machines running at high efficiency, monitoring for mechanical problems or deviations in output.Requirements Experience:Often entry-level, but experience with manufacturing equipment, tools, or industrial settings is preferred.Technical Skills:Ability to read tape measures, use calipers, and follow, and operate basic machinery.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Skills:Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and communication skills.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status.Pay:$17.00 per hour Experience:operating thermofoil/vinyl room for wood:1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Buford, GA 30518 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
