www.republichospitality.com Job Summary The VIP Manager is responsible for delivering a high-level guest experience while driving VIP table sales, managing front-of-house operations, and supporting overall venue profitability. This role serves as a key guest-facing leader, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards, smooth nightly operations, and strong team performance in a fast-paced nightlife environment. Key Responsibilities VIP Sales & Guest Relations Manage the VIP phone and respond promptly to guest inquiries via calls, text messages, email, and social media regarding VIP tables, reservations, and special experiences. Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests, regular clientele, and high-value customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty. Lead VIP table sales initiatives and consistently work toward achieving sales goals and revenue targets. Provide a warm, energetic, and welcoming presence at the front door and throughout the venue from Thursday through Sunday. Personally greet guests, recognize returning patrons, and ensure all visitors receive attentive, guest-focused service. Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns quickly and professionally to ensure a premium nightlife experience. Promotions & Venue Operations Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and execute promotional events, themed nights, and revenue-driving initiatives. Assist the General Manager in creating efficient operational strategies that maximize guest satisfaction and profitability. Oversee front-of-house operations to maintain quality service, operational efficiency, beverage accuracy, safety standards, and financial performance. Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all front-of-house areas and guest spaces throughout the venue. Maintain thorough knowledge of venue operations, menus, POS systems, payroll procedures, and company standards. Manage executive-level POS functions and assist with end-of-shift financial reconciliation procedures. Participate in reviewing monthly Profit & Loss statements and support financial accountability initiatives. Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations, company sanitation standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Leadership & Team Development Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. Coach and develop front-of-house staff by establishing clear expectations, accountability, and service standards. Lead by example with professionalism, positivity, and strong communication skills. Conduct and participate in daily pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings. Foster a collaborative team environment while supporting fellow managers and staff as needed. Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately and consistently. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of hospitality management experience in a high-volume nightclub, bar, lounge, or restaurant environment required. Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, VIP Manager, or senior hospitality leader preferred. Proven experience selling VIP tables, nightlife experiences, and premium guest services. Strong leadership, coaching, guest relations, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated financial awareness, including VIP sales tracking, quotas, and revenue performance. Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive. Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and hospitality technology platforms. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and positive energy. Must maintain a polished, professional, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards. Ability to stand and move for extended periods throughout shifts. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds when necessary. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business demands require. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest and operational information professionally. ServSafe Alcohol and Food Handler certification required based on local regulations.
