Voice Recording & Transcription Specialist Remote · Independent Contractor · Up to $600 per project AgentsOnly · 10 Languages · Flexible Hours Job type: Independent contractor (1099 / freelance) Schedule: Flexible — you set your hours within the project window Location: Remote (region requirements vary by language — see below) Project length: ~1 week of active work per agent, within an 8-week project window Languages hiring: English (US), Spanish (US/LatAM), Spanish (EU), Portuguese (EU), French, German, Italian, Arabic (Saudi/UAE), Japanese, Korean About the Role AgentsOnly is hiring 2,000 voice contributors across 10 languages for an exciting AI voice and speech project. As a Voice Recording & Transcription Specialist, you'll do two things — and get paid separately for each: Have natural, recorded conversations in your native language with other speakers Listen back to your own recordings and verify the AI-generated transcriptions for accuracy Your contributions help build and improve the next generation of voice and speech AI. The work is flexible, fully remote, and milestone-based — you complete the work, you get paid. No hourly tracking, no shifts, no managers looking over your shoulder. What You'll Do Milestone 1 — Recording Join scheduled audio recording sessions on the Turing platform Have natural conversations with 1 to 7 other speakers on guided topics Accumulate 45 minutes of recorded talk time across one or more sessions Maintain clear audio quality (good headset, quiet environment, no background noise or channel bleed) Milestone 2 — Transcription Verification Listen back to your own recorded sessions Compare them against AI-generated transcriptions (Assembly AI) Identify and correct errors to meet a high accuracy threshold (target word error rate ~1%) Expected time: 2 to 4 hours of focused listening and editing Compensation & How Payment Works Milestone 1 payout — Paid once you've completed 45 minutes of recorded talk time at acceptable audio quality. Milestone 2 payout — Paid once you've completed transcription verification of your own recordings at the required accuracy threshold. Referral bonus — R efer a friend. When they complete both milestones, you get a bonus on top of your earnings. Unlimited referrals. Who We're Looking For Required Native or near-native fluency in one of the 10 listed languages 18 years of age or older A USB or wired headset with a quality microphone (built-in laptop mics, AirPods, and Bluetooth earbuds are not acceptable for this project) A quiet recording environment with minimal background noise and no audible echo Reliable, stable internet connection capable of supporting 45-minute audio sessions A computer (laptop or desktop) — this work cannot be done on mobile Strong attention to detail for the transcription verification step Comfort using web-based platforms (we'll guide you through onboarding) Nice to Have (not required) Previous experience with voice recording, transcription, or data annotation Comfort speaking naturally in a guided, semi-structured conversation format Existing AgentsOnly account (we'll help you set one up if not) Why You'll Like This Gig Total flexibility: No fixed schedule.
