Company Overview: A leading global alternative investment manager offers clients primary and secondary investment solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design and implementation of their AI Security Program. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an AI security strategy and control framework. Partner with various teams to build secure patterns for AI technologies. Implement safeguards against AI-specific risks. Contribute to policies and guidelines for safe AI usage. Build secure-by-default tooling and reference architectures. Integrate AI safety and security controls into CI/CD pipelines. Facilitate threat modeling sessions for AI/ML systems. Implement monitoring for AI behavior and develop dashboards for metrics. Collaborate with teams to build incident response playbooks for AI-related events. Serve as a partner for engineering, data, product, and risk teams. Qualifications: Significant experience in Cybersecurity (typically 8+ years) with hands-on experience in Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Security, or Applied Cryptography. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Kubernetes, network and identity security, CI/CD pipelines, and application security tooling. Strong understanding of LLM architectures, ML pipelines, and AI-specific threats. Scripting or programming in Python, TypeScript, or similar. Experience influencing technical decision-makers and driving cross-team initiatives. Bachelor's degree, relevant technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience. Professional certifications (e.g., GSEC, GCIA, CISSP, OSCP) are valued but not required.
