Vice President of Supply Chain Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and optimize global supply chain operations while driving digital transformation initiatives across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier networks. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational leadership with knowledge of emerging technologies, including blockchain-enabled supply chain solutions, to improve transparency, traceability, efficiency, and risk management across the organization. This role requires a forward-thinking leader capable of building scalable supply chain systems, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and supporting long-term business growth in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives and operational targets. Oversee end-to-end supply chain functions including procurement, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, inventory planning, transportation, and supplier management. Lead digital transformation initiatives by integrating advanced technologies such as blockchain, AI-driven analytics, ERP systems, and smart contract solutions into supply chain operations. Improve supply chain transparency and product traceability through blockchain-based tracking systems. Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics providers to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance, delivery accuracy, inventory turnover, and vendor compliance. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with finance, operations, technology, and executive leadership teams to support scalable business expansion. Lead and mentor high-performing supply chain teams across multiple regions and departments. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, sustainability, and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, procurement policies, and data security standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or operations. Proven experience managing complex global supply chain networks and large-scale operational teams. Familiarity with blockchain applications in supply chain management, including traceability, smart contracts, decentralized data systems, and supplier verification. Strong understanding of ERP platforms, digital supply chain technologies, and data analytics tools. Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset. Experience in manufacturing, technology, e-commerce, fintech, or blockchain-related industries is highly preferred.
