One of the largest institutional bank is seeking an experienced Privacy & Responsible Information Management Officer to support Independent Compliance Risk Management in executing critical privacy, records management, and responsible AI governance initiatives. This is a highly visible, execution-focused role supporting enterprise compliance and governance programs within a complex financial services environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in privacy compliance, data governance, records management, regulatory risk, and AI governance activities, along with the ability to drive multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. Job Title: VP – Privacy, Records & AI Compliance Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) Key Responsibilities Privacy, Records & AI Governance: Support execution of enterprise privacy, records management, and responsible AI governance initiatives. Execute assigned workstreams within agreed timelines, deliverables, and governance frameworks. Assist with AI use case lifecycle reviews, focusing on identification and documentation of privacy, data governance, records, and responsible AI risks. Identify, assess, and document compliance risks, control gaps, remediation actions, and governance concerns. Support implementation of updated regulatory requirements, policies, standards, and governance procedures. Risk Management & Compliance: Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Technology, and First Line teams to support assessments, reviews, and remediation efforts. Maintain issue logs, action trackers, governance documentation, and audit-ready records. Support regulatory readiness and compliance reporting activities. Ensure transparency and traceability of governance activities and remediation efforts. Governance & Documentation: Prepare high-quality written deliverables including: risk assessments, governance materials, review summaries, executive updates, compliance documentation, and status reporting. Coordinate stakeholder inputs and manage dependencies across multiple parallel workstreams. Track milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely execution. Required Qualifications Experience within Privacy, Compliance, Risk Management, Data Governance, Records Management, or Regulatory Governance functions. Strong understanding of privacy regulations, records management standards, and emerging AI governance/compliance risks. Experience working within financial services, banking, or highly regulated environments preferred. Ability to identify and document compliance risks, control gaps, and remediation plans. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working within matrixed enterprise organizations. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, or AI risk oversight. Experience supporting audit, regulatory, or compliance programs. Familiarity with governance frameworks, risk assessments, and policy implementation. Prior experience supporting Independent Compliance Risk Management or enterprise governance functions is a plus.
