Position Overview Provide leadership over reinsurance operations and financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, effective risk transfer, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee administration of reinsurance agreements from placement through settlement Partner with senior leaders to support reinsurance strategy and execution Collaborate with actuarial, finance, claims, systems, and sourcing teams Deliver accurate ceded reinsurance results for all close cycles Maintain internal controls over reinsurance accounting, billing, and collections Review balances, approve complex transactions, and explain performance results Manage recoverables, premium payments, and aging balances Lead and develop a team; maintain documentation and audit readiness Serve as a primary contact for reinsurers and brokers Support cross‑functional initiatives and special projects Qualifications & Experience Extensive insurance experience with a focus on reinsurance operations Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Strong knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance structures Solid understanding of insurance accounting and financial reporting Proven people leadership and senior‑level communication skills Advanced analytical and spreadsheet capabilities
