Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures throughout service. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in guest services, serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles will be beneficial. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing excellent customer service.
