Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and foster positive guest relations throughout their dining experience. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met. Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations via OpenTable or similar systems, coordinating seating arrangements seamlessly. Qualifications Prior restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy.
