Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
