Warehouse and Postproduction Supervisor Tony Chachere's Creole Foods of Opelousas, Inc.The Warehouse and Postproduction Supervisor works effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to prepare and ship all freight for the day through warehouse operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation (packing list/BOL'S, etc.).Works with shipping and warehouse team to ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy and on time delivery of orders.Supervising and coaching employees in a professional manner.Expert in WMS and SOPS.Results driven and RCA driven with proven results.Works and reports directly with and to Logistics/Warehouse/Postproduction Manager.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Efficiently works within a busy warehouse department.Packs and unpacks orders while no shipping is occurring throughout the day.Effectively uses organization systems and warehouse technology to locate and gather stock.Accurately updates documents with receiving/shipping information.Creates receiving/shipping packing list and BOL'S and handles receiving/shipping information.Communicates with all warehouse personnel about organization practices and picker technology.Ensures a close working relationship with the associate verifying freight before the receiving/shipping out task occurs.Problem solves for customers/carriers and about receiving/shipping needs delayed items, and rush orders.RCA driven with results.Provides excellent customer service with all LTL drivers, pickups, and truckloads upon the receiving/shipping departure process takes place.Troubleshoots receiving/shipping issues that pop up on a needed basis; works to solve these through the Logistics/Warehouse Mgr.General knowledge of stable stacking through customer request and requirements.Works well with management team to plan and complete any company initiatives.Communicating professionally with truck drivers and customers.Receiving raw ingredients and packaging materials.Documenting trailer #'s, LOT's and product descriptions.Sealing and unsealing trailers to confirm accurate and pristine product is loaded and unloaded.Storing and rotating both raw ingredients and packaging materials.Monitoring Chauffer's license and CDL requirements for the company needs.Coaching employees through supervision.Ability to have professional conversations through mentoring and counseling meetings.Ability to maintain records and file all necessary documentation.Ability to work well with other members of management and supervisors.Ability to make business decisions in the best interest of the company.=============================================================================================== Tony Chachere's Creole Foods of Opelousas, Inc.is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, disability, religion, national origin, gender, marital status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law..
