Warehouse Assistant

Marvin Design Gallery / Estates Windows, with almost 40 years of experience providing the highest quality Windows and Doors (as well as exemplary service) to our customers is growing again.We are currently interviewing for a Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team.Duties: Duties in the Office include matching vendor packing slips w/ company purchase orders; electronically receiving inventory into system; Invoice generation; back-up scheduling/logistics; There will be some customer contact.Must be very comfortable with computers and data entry. Duties in the Field include occasionally driving (primarily) box trucks to/from customer job sites delivering Windows, Doors, Trim Packages and other Building Materials.Should be very familiar with Chicago, North Shore and Northwest Suburbs. Duties in the Warehouse include unloading product into inventory and/or loading company trucks for delivery.Skills/Qualifications:This full-time position requires a licensed individual with a clean driving record.CDL license or Class C Non-CDL would be helpful, though not necessary for this position.We cannot stress enough that the successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills as he/she will be a key part of our customer service team.Familiarity with Computers is essential.Windows/Building Materials and Construction industry and ability to operate a forklift would be helpful.Please note up front that successful candidate will have to pass pre-employment drug testing.Hourly, full-time position with starting pay of $22 to $23 per hour depending on qualifications.Full Benefit Package including PPO health/dental/life insurances, 401(k) with generous company match, paid holidays, and paid time off.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$22.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
