Warehouse Assistant

Job Description The Warehouse Assistant II is a qualified forklift operator, is independent and self-directed, has 1-2 years previous warehouse experience and has HVAC product knowledge.The primary duties of a warehouse assistant include the following:operating a forklift or picker machine, interfacing with customers and maintaining customer relationships, conducting precise physical inventory counts, maintaining damages and quality control, and overall cleanliness of the warehouse.Key Requirements:Forklift Certification preferred Independent and self-directed WMS Systems experience 1-2 years prior warehouse experience HVAC product knowledge from prior experience or 20hours of in-house training at Habegger.Unmatched customer experience skills Ability to interface with customers internally and externally Safety and Team Oriented Positive Attitude Maintain a professional appearance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Clean, organize, and maintain all material handling equipment Sense of urgency Some heavy lifting required Mechanical Aptitude Desire to grow within the company Education:High School Diploma or GED required Habegger is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Pay:$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Profit sharing Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
