Job Description
$17 per hour Job Description As the contracted staffing firm with a ten-year contract at DFW International Airport, we are seeking a Warehouse Associate PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Coordinate with the warehouse on terminal specific warehouse deliveries Inspect materials and supplies received for damage; verify that materials and supplies received comply with specifications and are the correct quantity, description and code number; update and maintain receiving records Transport materials, parts and supplies to designated locations in terminals Stock and catalog products in the designated locations in terminals Rearrange materials, parts and supplies in accordance with accepted terminal good housing practices.Assist in taking daily physical inventories.Update inventory counts and maintain inventory records to share with DFW management and other stakeholders Operates power and non-powered hand-operated equipment to move materials.Inventory material, parts and supplies to ensure adequate amount are stored in terminal storage rooms Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent.Six (6) months of general warehouse experience including general clerical experience.Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to operate material-handling equipment.Forklift experience Ability to operate Computerized Inventory Control Systems.Ability to write legibly in recording transactions Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and to figure weights and measurements.Ability to work other than assigned shift when required.Ability to work at various locations on DFW Airport premises.Ability to pass a medical physical examination.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport's Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.Department may require up to three (3) months of experience operating equipment common to a mailroom.#IND1.
