Warehouse Associate The Kansas City BBQ Store | Olathe, KS Full-Time | $17.00 – $20.00 per hour About Us The Kansas City BBQ Store is a fast-growing specialty retailer and e-commerce business serving BBQ enthusiasts across the Kansas City metro and beyond. Our warehouse team is the backbone of our operation — keeping two retail stores stocked and hundreds of online orders moving every week. The Role We are hiring an entry-level Warehouse Associate to support our daily shipping, receiving, and replenishment operations. This is a full-time position in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment. No prior warehouse experience is required — we will train the right person. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship e-commerce orders accurately and on time, Monday through Friday Receive inbound product shipments and verify against purchase orders Prepare and stage replenishment orders for American Fire BBQ in Lee’s Summit and The Kansas City BBQ Store in Olathe Operate a forklift to move, stage, and organize product (training and certification available) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Perform routine inventory counts and assist with stock organization Load and unload delivery vehicles using a Class E driver’s license as needed Requirements Valid Class E driver’s license required Forklift certification preferred — we will train and certify the right candidate Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Basic math and computer skills for order processing and inventory Schedule Monday through Friday, daytime hours Occasional Saturdays based on business needs Consistent, stable schedule — no rotating shifts Why Join Us $17 – $20 per hour based on experience Climate-controlled warehouse — comfortable year-round working environment Employee discount on premium BBQ products and gear Small team, no corporate bureaucracy — your work makes a direct impact Opportunity to grow as the business expands To apply, submit your resume through Indeed or contact us directly through The Kansas City BBQ Store.
