Warehouse Associate (Cold Storage - Produce)Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Cold Storage - Produce) to join our production and distribution team.This role is responsible for processing, packaging, and preparing fresh-cut produce for shipment in a temperature-controlled environment.The ideal candidate is comfortable working in cold, wet conditions and can perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining high quality and safety standards.Schedule Monday through Friday Start time:8:00 AM End time:when work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM) Occasional extended shifts up to 8:00 PM based on workload Work Environment Cold storage facility with temperatures consistently between 34 F and 40 F year-round Wet processing and packaging areas Requires use of slip-resistant, steel-toe or composite safety boots Key Responsibilities Process fresh-cut produce orders including cutting, trimming, and packaging vegetables and other food items Prepare products for next-day delivery according to system-generated orders Label packaged goods accurately for shipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of processing and work areas at the start and throughout each shift Ensure all products meet company quality and food safety standards Safely operate equipment, including electric pallet jacks (training provided if needed) Follow all safety procedures, hygiene standards, and facility regulations Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers Qualifications 0-3 years of warehouse experience preferred (minimum 1 year required) High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to read, write, and understand English Basic math and counting skills Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly Ability to stand, bend, squat, push, pull, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Comfortable working with sharp tools and equipment Prior experience in produce handling or food processing preferred Physical Requirements Frequent heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs) Long periods of standing and repetitive motion Work in cold, wet, and fast-paced conditions Pay:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
