Warehouse Associate

A Warehouse Associate - Picker is responsible for locating and collecting products in a warehouse to fulfill customer or store orders.They ensure the correct items and quantities are picked and prepared for shipping or distribution.Other duties may include stickering new product, inventory, and general cleaning.Key Responsibilities Pick orders:Locate and pick products from shelves or storage areas based on order lists.Use warehouse technology:Operate handheld devices and warehouse management systems to track inventory.Prepare items for packing:Deliver picked items to packing stations or staging areas.Maintain accuracy:Verify product codes, quantities, and conditions to reduce errors.Follow safety procedures:Safely use ladders, pallet jacks, or order-picking equipment.Organize inventory:Re-stock shelves, face products, and keep picking areas clean and organized.Meet productivity targets:Work efficiently to meet daily or hourly picking quotas.Typical Daily Tasks Reading pick tickets or digital orders Walking through warehouse aisles to locate products Scanning barcodes and confirming quantities Moving boxes or totes to packing areas Reporting damaged or missing inventory Requirements & Skills High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred) Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods Basic math and attention to detail Experience with scanners and warehouse systems (preferred but often trained on the job) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Teamwork and reliability Work Environment Indoor warehouse Standing, bending, and walking most of the shift Requirements & Skills High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred) Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods Basic math and attention to detail Experience with scanners and warehouse systems (preferred but often trained on the job) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Teamwork and reliability.
