Job Description
Donations & Intake:Assist with receiving and unloading donations Inspect items for quality and safety standards Communicate clearly with donors and provide excellent customer service Help determine appropriate placement of incoming items Warehouse Organization:Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse space Sort, stage, and store inventory in designated areas Ensure aisles and workspaces remain clear and accessible Forklift, pallet jack usage is a plus Product Handling:Safely move furniture, appliances, and building materials Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs regularly (team lifting when needed) Prepare items for the sales floor as directed Customer Support:Assist customers with loading purchases Provide friendly, helpful service at all times Support the sales floor when needed Safety & Compliance:Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques Remove hazards (e.g., nails, debris) from incoming materials Report any safety concerns to management immediately Team Support:Work collaboratively with team members and leadership Follow direction and complete assigned tasks efficiently Be flexible and willing to assist in other areas as needed Expectations:Reliable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take direction Respectful communication with team members and customers Schedule & Physical Requirements:Typical hours:Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (or until closing tasks are complete) Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift Our Culture:We are a team-driven environment that values hard work, kindness, and service to our community.Every team member plays a role in supporting our mission and creating a welcoming experience for donors and customers alike.Pay:$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
