Job Description
Warehouse associate Corporate Statement American Armor is a new privately-owned Nitrile Glove manufacturer.American Armor products are proudly made in the USA! We are headquartered in West Columbia, South Carolina.?The facility utilizescompletely automated manufacturing, packaging, and distribution systems, in addition to high volume and redundant utility systems, to ensure production system availability.Position Summary:To operate forklifts and maneuver materials with pallet jacks.Assist with the production line needs; packaging materials.Constantly meets and exceeds established productivity and quality standards.Routinely help assist with monthly cycle counts for inventory purposes.Routinely monitor and stock WIPS /components to manufacturing/packaging / warehouse operations.Working overtime as needed.Performs all other duties as assigned or apparent.Loading and unloading box trailers.(finished products/supplies ) Primary Accountabilities:Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; notifying management before adjusting entries.Conducts physical inventories for department supplies.Inspects all packages with packing list, notifies management any issues to follow up.Ensures raw materials are accurately documented, material unloaded to 100T tank.Coordinates all delivery through common carriers.Inspects all packages with packing list, notifies owner thru email and updates final delivery or partial delivery in Nephron PIMS NOTE:The primary accountabilities and knowledge, skills and abilities are intended to describe the general content of and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties.Incumbents may perform all or most of the primary accountabilities listed below.Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented in the incumbents' performance objectives as outlined by the incumbents' immediate supervisor or manager.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:High School Diploma or equivalent Previous shipping, receiving and warehouse experience.Computer Experience:Microsoft office software Must have a valid drivers license A broad perspective that aligns decisions to organizational objectives and long-term consequences of day-to-day activities.The ability to create and contribute to an environment that values safety, people, encourages trust, teamwork, open communication, participation, learning, and recognition.The ability to effectively manage one self, demonstrates integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve departmental goals.Position requires lifting (up to 50 lbs.), vision (20/20), bending (waist to floor), climbing (on a ladder), reaching (floor to overhead), standing (30%), sitting (30%), walking (40%), gripping, talking and hearing.Incumbents are required to wear PPE as assigned by management.Incumbents are required to comply with proper gowning requirements and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.Incumbents may be required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, and laboratory coats and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.Pay range:Based on experience EEO Statement:American Armor is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate against employees or job applicants on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, mental or physical disability of a qualified individual, veteran or military status, pregnancy, marital status, familial status, genetic information, or any other consideration made unlawful by applicable federal, state or local law..
