Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc.Job Description Job Title:Warehouse Associate Reports to:Warehouse Lead and or Terminal Manager Hours:Varies, TBD by position.Position Summary:This position is responsible for ensuring that all products are received and accounted for in an efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsible for verifying the accuracy of the paperwork that is submitted by the drive team and ensuring that it matches with the appliances and items designated for haul away.Preparation of the new appliances to be loaded for delivery in accordance with established company procedures.Responsible for verifying routes for inbound and outbound delivery and staging the product for the drive teams.Review the warehouse pick sheet to verify the MS and model on the delivery tag for accuracy.Responsible for the proper marking of inbound freight with identifying information using appropriate methods.(chalking/tagging).Maintain open lines of communication with warehouse management when there is a discrepancy in paperwork, damaged items or issues with mislabeled or missing merchandise.Responsible for filing and auditing delivery bills for compliance purposes.Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and general office area by sweeping, dusting, mopping, emptying trash bins, etc.Other duties assigned to be determined by supervisor or TM Summary of Experience and Education High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Six (6) months or more related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure Physical Demands Must be able to lift/negotiate up to 400 lbs.with mechanical assistance (forklifts and hand dollies) Must be able to frequently lift/maneuver up to 100 pounds without assistance Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time while squatting, bending, pulling or lifting Must be able to maneuver, bend, squat and crawl while utilizing hand tools and other equipment..
