This role offers the opportunity to combine warehouse responsibilities with professional driving duties to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials.You'll be responsible for loading, unloading, and organizing inventory while operating a variety of commercial vehicles safely, including a box truck and forklift.Duties Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles, including a box truck and forklift Load and unload freight using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual tools, ensuring proper handling and placement of materials.Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly.Assist in warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, moving supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in storage areas.Drive a box truck to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or vehicle issues to ensure smooth operations.Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, vehicle maintenance, and cargo securement.Requirements Valid commercial driver's license Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles like box trucks, tractor-trailers, school buses, or tow trucks; delivery driver experience is highly valued.Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques or powered equipment.Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy haul operations, route driving, and warehouse procedures.Pay:$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Paid training Work Location:In person.
