DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of: POSITION TITLE: WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR Location: San Antonio, TX FLSA: Non-Exempt Hire Pay: DOE Classification : Full-Time JOB DESCRIPTION: The Warehouse Forklift Operator will use a forklift to transport different materials around the warehouse and to load and unload materials from the loading dock. JOB SUMMARY: Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to load and unload materials manually, off or on pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices. Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure working forklift equipment. Plans and coordinates with upper management regarding loading and unloading operations. Keep updated records of inventory. Comply with company guidelines and safety policies. Other duties as assigned such as carrying 50 lbs bags on catwalks and platforms. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED Forklift experience a plus, but not required Bilingual preferred SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives supervision from the supervisor. Position has formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision. WORKING CONDITIONS: The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor environment, with high equipment noise, and subject to outside temperatures. ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
