In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing order picking, shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely delivery of products.But it goes a step further.You will also be the person texting and emailing customers to verify orders, participating in group order confirmations, and making sure every customer interaction reflects well on our team.You need to be just as comfortable on a warehouse floor as you are writing a professional text or email to a customer.This is a role for someone who is personable, precise, and steady when things get hectic.About UsWe are a nationwide supply company with distribution centers across the country, and a tight-knit local team that takes real pride in every order we fulfill.We are more than just a workplace -- we are a collaborative group committed to excellence in customer service, accuracy, and follow-through.We will be honest with you:when it is busy here, it is really busy.Orders are moving, customers are calling, warehouses around the country need answers, and everyone needs to be on the same page at once.We work hard and we move fast.The people who thrive here are the ones who stay calm, follow process, ask questions when they are not sure, and take pride in getting things right -- not just getting things done.If that sounds like you, we would love to meet you.Duties Pick and pack customer orders ensuring all items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment.Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness.Maintain organized storage of materials, pallets, and inventory in compliance with OSHA standards.Participate in group texting for order verification -- confirming details with customers and internal contacts.Email and text customers directly to verify orders, flag issues, and confirm shipment details.Help maintain accurate stock levels on the warehouse floor.Coordinate with the Order Processing Coordinator to resolve fulfillment issues.Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on materials handling.Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving preferred.Personable and professional in written and verbal communication -- customers will hear from you directly.Ability to write clear, professional text and email messages to customers.Strong attention to detail and reliability -- right is more important than fast.Comfortable working in both a warehouse and office environment.Physically able to lift, move, and stand for extended periods.Coachable and process-oriented; follows established procedures without creating workarounds.Calm and focused when the pace picks up -- this job can move fast.Basic math proficiency for quantity verification.Pay:$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Application Question(s):An Item is a 6 ft stick.It comes in a box of 120 ft.How many sticks are in the box?
