Job Overview We are seeking the right applicant to fill the role for this temp-to-hire Warehouse Laborer position.This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations through materials handling and order picking to ensure efficient and accurate processing of shipments and inventory management.The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience with warehouse systems to contribute to a safe and productive environment.This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in warehouse distribution and logistics management.Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading shipments.Sort and reprice products effectively and efficiently.Maintain safety in compliance with OSHA standards.Handle materials efficiently by stacking pallets, organizing inventory, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods.Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and adhere to safety protocols.Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments is ideal.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking procedures is preferred.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis.Prior experience with shipping & receiving processes is preferred.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management.Construction or industrial background is a bonus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.Applicants must submit to a pre-hire background check due to the nature of this position.Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM.This position is integral to maintaining smooth warehouse operations while prioritizing safety and efficiency.We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are motivated to contribute positively within a fast-paced environment.@WORK is an Equal Opportunity Employer & a Maine Family-Owned DBE Company Pay:From $16.50 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s):Have you worked for @WORK Personnel before?
