Responsibilities Develops logistic program operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping. Develops project site layout design, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating, and recommending new equipment. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating patrols with security department. Actively maintains detailed inventory log of equipment and material contained on project site. Coordinates with multiple vendors (including manufacturers and distributors) to arrange deliveries on a consistent schedule Establishes consistent delivery schedule with a 3 week look ahead (both for material that is needed on project).
