In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.Your proactive approach will ensure timely processing of goods, accurate order fulfillment, and seamless coordination with shipping and receiving teams.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-conscious workplace.Responsibilities Safely load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, adhering to OSHA safety standards.Prepare orders for shipment by selecting items with precision using order picker equipment and ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and documenting discrepancies.Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other heavy machinery.Maintain a clean, organized warehouse workspace by properly stacking pallets, securing loads, and ensuring clear pathways for safe movement of goods.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety protocols at all times.Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling within a fast-paced environment.Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane systems, and load & unload machinery with proper certification where required.Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, shipping & receiving, and general warehouse safety practices.Experience in construction or industrial settings is a plus for understanding heavy lifting techniques and mechanical systems.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and packing tasks.This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in warehouse operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.Join us in creating a streamlined logistics process that keeps our supply chain moving smoothly!
