Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Product Support specialist, where your expertise will drive seamless operations and exceptional service.In this vital role, you will be the backbone of inventory management, materials handling, and order fulfillment processes.Your energetic approach and mechanical aptitude will ensure that our warehouse functions efficiently, safely, and accurately.This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation, warehouse management systems, and distribution logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using warehouse management systems such as inflow bar coding system Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and to load, unload, stock, and organize materials efficiently.Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing shipments, verifying orders through order picking and packing procedures, and ensuring timely delivery.Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking products, performing order fulfillment tasks, and maintaining proper packaging standards.Conduct regular safety inspections adhering to OSHA standards; operate heavy equipment with mechanical knowledge while ensuring safe handling of materials.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow in manufacturing or construction-related environments; support stock replenishment and inventory audits.Use warehouse management systems like inflow bar coding accurately; utilize RF scanners for real-time inventory updates.Participate in the operation of various types of heavy equipment such as reach trucks and cranes to support materials handling needs across the facility.Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with a focus on inventory management and materials handling.Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms; proficiency with RF scanners is highly desirable.Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; demonstrated ability to support team efforts in fast-paced environments is essential.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing and heavy equipment operation.Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting, stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving activities efficiently and safely.Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
