Warehouse worker

This is a job requiring physical warehouse work and f unctions related to filling orders. Please read all requirements Starting $17 / Hr. range plus OT as required pick, stage and pack orders for UPS ground/LTL shipping attention to detail required in: following part numbers/minimum order qty/case/master case qty writing weights and box count information on pick slip legibly noting part numbers and qty for partial box labels correctly/legibly packing partial qty boxes so contents are protected, boxes are taped correctly and neatly. palletizing boxes, shrink wrapping pallets, putting packing slips/pallet labels on pallets. unload inbound containers and organize incoming inventory in proper place to facilitate accuracy in identification and count. Person must have ability to lift boxes weighing between 25 to 50 lbs. in manual warehousing environment. While unloading containers, it is a team effort with fellow warehouse employee and 3 to 4 hour manual exercise with up to 800 boxes unloaded in each container. There are 3 to 4 containers on average each month. keep warehouse clean and organized, including bathroom, dispose unused cartons, weekly garbage disposal. Routine hours are 8:30 to 5:00 PM, sometimes extending to 6:30 with OT at 1,5X Person will work alongside two other warehouse worker and will be supervised by office manager. This is a small wholesale distribution business so attitude to do whatever is required to get the job done is a must. Bilingual (spanish/english preferred). There is a discretionary annual bonus before the holidays each year based on performance and effort demonstrated during the year.
