GENERAL DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, warehouse workers are cross-trained to perform a variety of functions throughout the warehouse. This role supports multiple operational areas including receiving, shipping, order selection, inventory control, stocking, and general warehouse duties. Employees may be assigned to any warehouse shift (1st, 2nd, or graveyard) based on business needs. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, stocking, and inventory control Use scanner guns and other warehouse equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently Maintain productivity standards and meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals Ensure accuracy and quality in all order fulfillment and inventory handling activities Follow all safety rules, procedures, and warehouse protocols at all times Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the shift Operate warehouse systems and perform basic data entry as needed Work collaboratively with team members and management to support workflow and productivity May assist with additional duties such as refrigeration unit tasks or special projects as assigned Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability Represent VSI professionally in all internal and external interactions QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED preferred Prior warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent task changes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Basic math and reading comprehension skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and reliability PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly Ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform repetitive tasks Work environment may include exposure to varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels WHAT WE OFFER Benefits Package Competitive pay Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holiday pay Perks & Culture Employee discount program Opportunities for growth, training, and cross-training Supportive team environment Stable, full-time work in a growing company Work that has a daily operational impact
