Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Warehouse/Delivery Operations Assistant to join our dynamic Natural Foods Distribution team.In this position, you will participate in material handling, order fullfillment, inventory management, product delivery/merchandising, equipment/facility maintenance, and logistics coordination.Your energetic approach will help streamline all activities across these crucial systems.This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills while contributing to a fast-paced small business environment committed to excellence.Responsibilities Assist with inventory control and management to track stock levels accurately.Operate heavy equipment such as non-CDL delivery trucks, forklifts, pickers, and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and moving materials.Participate in order picking, packing, and fulfillment activities to meet deadlines with precision.Load and unload trucks while adhering to OSHA safety standards and mechanical operation protocols.Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse by stocking shelves correctly, conducting regular inventory audits, and adhering to company protocols.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve distribution workflows and implement best practices for materials handling.Participate in store level delivery/merchandising of products and tracking inventory counts as required to ensure stores are adequately stocked.Assist in facility/equipment maintenance, sanitation, and record keeping.Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS).Valid certification for forklift operation is highly encouraged.Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and other equipment.Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock stocking or load/unload tasks.Experience with inventory management techniques including cycle counting and stock reconciliation.Prior warehouse /deliveryexperience or leadership skills are a plus for potential advancement opportunities.Join us as a Warehouse/Delivery Operations Assistant where your energy fuels our success!
