For more details about Geely Group, please visit: https://www.geelyauto.com.hk/company-brief/ What You Will Be Doing As the Warranty and Quality (Senior) Coordinator/Manager, you will join our dynamic team to lead or support warranty and quality management initiatives, including conducting in-depth warranty return analysis, identifying root causes of issues, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements to government agencies such as NHTSA and CARB. Partner closely with Service leadership to monitor, analyze, and report quality and warranty trends, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and service excellence. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams in China to regularly report quality issues, align on technical service bulletins (TSBs), and coordinate responses to recalls or product defects. Ensure all warranty returns adhere to vendor guidelines, optimizing financial recovery and maximizing cost-saving opportunities for the company. Review repair orders thoroughly to verify the accuracy of technician narratives, ensuring compliance with warranty vendor submission standards and readiness for potential customer audits. Work in close partnership with ZEEKR’s Regulatory team to guide and support government agency reporting, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to foster a problem-solving mindset, which will be applied to drive efficiency and effectiveness across all Service operations. What Skills & Experiences You Will Need Bachelor’s degree, a certificate program in Automotive Technology, or equivalent work experience in warranty, quality, or automotive service management. Proven ability to train and coach Service staff on effectively documenting repair narratives in repair orders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with warranty requirements. Proactive, flexible, confident, and professional, with the ability to work independently and self-direct in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted partner and consultant to Service leadership and frontline staff. Demonstrated experience leading complex problem-solving initiatives related to warranty claims, quality control, or product reliability. Excellent facilitation and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and geographies. Working knowledge of automotive recalls and campaigns, with the ability to compile and provide accurate data to vendors and the Regulatory team. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting with internal teams, vendors, and government agencies. Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support reporting, analysis, and documentation. Adaptability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, with the ability to pivot priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on verification of faulty parts as needed. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including domestic travel and international travel to China. Solid understanding of warranty terms, policies, and industry best practices. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in a retail automotive dealership as a warranty administrator, quality assurance inspector, or similar role. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes. Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs) and familiarity with EV-specific warranty and quality requirements. ASE Certification and HV (High-Voltage) battery training/certification. Location This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
