Job Description
SUMMARY Incumbents perform semi-skilled activities related to the operation of water reclamation facilities (including bio solids handling), disinfection processes, reclaimed water systems and recharge basins and wells. Incumbents are responsible for complying with regulations and permit conditions. Incumbents take compliance samples, perform laboratory analysis, inspect equipment, perform minor maintenance, and keep records. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED. Preferred candidate will have one year of wastewater utilities and/or laboratory related experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid Arizona Driver License and a valid Arizona Grade 1 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification at time of hire, and a valid Arizona Grade 1 Wastewater Collection System Operator certification within one (1) year of hire.
