Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a part-time Watch Repair Expert, where your technical skills and passion for precision come together to deliver exceptional service. In this role, you will be at the forefront of repairing and maintaining a wide range of watches, from classic analog to modern smart devices. Your expertise will ensure customers leave with their timepieces functioning flawlessly, creating memorable experiences and building lasting relationships. This position offers an energizing environment for those eager to showcase their craftsmanship and technical troubleshooting abilities. Background in Jewelry Repairing is a plus. Duties Diagnose and repair various watch types, including mechanical, quartz, and smart watches, utilizing specialized hand tools and schematics. Perform detailed soldering and equipment repairs on delicate electronic components within smart watches and other mobile devices. Conduct software troubleshooting for smart watches compatible with Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems. Use analysis skills to identify hardware issues related to computer hardware components in wearable devices. Assist customers with technical support related to operating systems, mobile device integration, and field service repairs. Follow safety protocols while handling sensitive electronic parts and ensure all repairs meet quality standards. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including parts used and troubleshooting steps taken. Requirements Enhanced driver license. Proven experience in electronics repair, especially involving soldering, schematics reading, and equipment repair. Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. Familiarity with mobile devices and wearable technology repair processes. Ability to utilize hand tools effectively for precise repairs on small electronic components. Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently. Experience working with computer hardware components and performing software troubleshooting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide clear technical support in retail or field service settings. Knowledge of Watch electronics schematics and ability to interpret technical diagrams is highly desirable.
