Water/Wastewater Project Engineer - Boise, ID Due to ongoing growth, AE2S is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our nationally recognized, award-winning team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers on the design, analysis, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Typical assignments include planning studies, engineering reports, system design, and construction administration for both new developments and system upgrades. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to client relationships and business development as part of a supportive, high-performing team. Responsibilities Provide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments Maintain quality client relationships and communication Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings Provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team members Basic Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months 5+ years of experience in civil engineering Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. Preferred Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field Proficient with Civil 3D Ability to lead both internal initiatives and external projects Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Physical Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
