Wicked Smart is looking for a motivated individual to join our team.We're looking for an in house Web & Content Creator to help keep our website fresh, accurate, and engaging.This role focuses on creating and updating website content, product descriptions, landing pages, and other digital assets that support our brand and customer experience.Responsibility would include building webstores and portals to facilitate an easy ordering process.This qualified individual would be Wicked Smart's liaison with our contracted seller's platform.If you have a strong eye for design, clear writing skills, and enjoy building content that drives action, this role is for you.Wicked Smart specializes in custom apparel and First Responder uniforms.We are located in the repurposed buildings of St.Brigid's Church & School in Watervliet, NY.It is a family run and operated business.This position is on site.Key Responsibilities Create, update, and manage website content (pages, banners, and landing pages) Write and edit product descriptions, category content, and brand messaging Liaison with seller's commerce platform.Create and update existing department e-store/webstore portals in accordance with customer requests Maintain content consistency across the site (tone, formatting, style) and troubleshoot any technical issues Support web merchandising efforts by organizing and improving product collections Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to execute promotions and updates Build and optimize content for SEO best practices (headlines, metadata, structure) Coordinate with designers or photographers to ensure images and assets match content needs Ensure all website content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail Experience working with website platforms and content management systems (CMS) Comfortable resizing, formatting, and organizing web graphics or digital assets Basic knowledge of SEO and web content best practices Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Familiarity with e-commerce environments is a plus Basic HTML/CSS knowledge Experience with Shopify, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms Understanding of e-commerce merchandising strategy Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar creative platforms Domain, DNS setup and troubleshooting experience Computer skills a must:knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or listen.The employee on occasion will be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or lift less than 50 pounds.Office hours are Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm.Reliable transportation a must.Salary based on experience It is strongly suggested that the candidate have 2-3 years work experience and related references Concierge Medical plan available Job Type:Full-time Pay:$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Ability to Commute:Watervliet, NY 12189 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
