Job Summary (This can primarily be a remote position) We are looking for a highly organized and technically proficient WordPress Developer to take full ownership of our web ecosystem. We currently manage a portfolio of over 100 WordPress websites hosted across SiteGround and Hostinger . This is not just a "design" job; it is an infrastructure and logic role. You will be responsible for ensuring our sites are fast, secure, and functional. You will handle everything from high-level server administration to custom PHP coding for WooCommerce and complex form logic, primarily using the Divi and Divi 5 frameworks. Duties Maintain and improve existing web platforms by troubleshooting issues, optimizing code, and ensuring security best practices are followed. Portfolio Management: Oversee updates, security, and performance for 100+ WordPress installs across multiple hosting environments. Infrastructure Strategy: Transition our current "one-by-one" management style into a centralized dashboard (e.g., ManageWP or MainWP) for maximum efficiency. Custom Development: Write clean, documented PHP and JavaScript for custom WooCommerce features, checkout logic, and specialized form integrations. Design Implementation: Build and maintain high-performance layouts using Divi / Divi 5 , ensuring mobile responsiveness and fast load times. Troubleshooting: Act as the "Tier 1" technical lead to diagnose and fix plugin conflicts, database errors, and hosting environment issues. Security & Compliance: Manage SSL certificates, automated backups, and proactive malware scanning. Technical Requirements (The Stack) Hosting: Advanced proficiency in SiteGround (Site Tools) and Hostinger (hPanel). CMS: Expert-level WordPress and WooCommerce administration. Design Framework: Mastery of Divi (including the new Divi 5 foundation). Programming: Strong PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery skills. Database: Ability to manage and optimize MySQL databases via phpMyAdmin. Tools: Experience with SFTP, SSH, and ideally, centralized management tools (ManageWP, InfiniteWP, etc.). Additional skills in front-end development including JavaScript frameworks (React), CSS preprocessors, or UI/UX design principles are highly desirable.
